Current transit of Mercury in Scorpio : November 28th 2020 to December 17th 2020 (approximately)

Mercury has recently entered the sign of Scorpio (according to the Sidereal Zodiac), which marks a period of probing, investigating for answers. Re-analysing data that was perhaps previously taken for granted, getting to the bottom of things, looking within, understanding our own thoughts and transforming from within, re-thinking our attitudes, or methods of communicating..these are all activities which Mercury in Scorpio will encourage us to take.

Even the most talkative among us will generally start to be cheap with words, instead choosing to carefully consider each word spoken or written, and how words can perhaps be used to destabilise an opponent, or dig for some hidden truth.

This period invites one to introspection, a good time to see a therapist perhaps, since it will help with unearthing new and hidden pieces of memory or information, which can lead to new insights and accelerate a healing, it is a time of purging ideas and thoughts which no longer serve us.

This is also a time when meditating, burning incense, taking long baths will help to soothe our agitated minds. Be careful with what you speak, since words will be particularly powerful at this time, and anything you say can be used against you, since Scorpio is a sign that loves cat and mouse power plays, and Mercury is the planet that rules speech, writing, messaging, all forms of conscious communication, in general. Which brings me to another idea, and that is the fact that during this time, the barrier between the subconscious and the conscious mind becomes permeable. So if you are looking for answers to deep existential questions, this is the perfect time to engage in practices of self-hypnosis, meditation, journalling, and any form of mental and spiritual healing, in general.

People with Ascendant in Scorpio or Taurus will find it easier to gain approval for their ideas and retain an audience during this transit.
